Do you accept part-time registrations?
We only accept full-time registrations, which we consider to be at least 100 hours of care per month.
Does your centre accept children with subsidy?
If parents/guardians would like more information regarding child care subsidy, please visit the website, http://humanservices.alberta.ca/financial-support/15104.html, or call the Alberta Supports Contact Centre at (780) 644-9992.
Does your centre have any closure dates?
Program Christmas Closure: We would like to inform our families that the Center will be closed from December 25th, 2023 to January 1st., 2024. We will reopen on January 2nd, 2024 .
Do you have a waiting list?
The centre operates on a first come first serve basis. We recommend parents/guardians to contact us to arrange a tour of the centre first. Once parents/guardians are sure the centre is the right fit for their family, we can let you know what availability will be like for the time that parents/guardians require care. If there will be an opening, parents/guardians can pay a $50 non refundable registration fee which will guarantee their space at the centre.
Does your centre provide meals?
Yes, the centre provides a snack in the morning, a hot lunch in the afternoon, as well as a snack in the later afternoon. However, the centre does not provide snacks or lunches for children attending the Younger Baby Room (6 months to 12 months), parents/guardians must provide baby food and formula and/or breast milk. For the After School Care, a snack is served before and after school, however parents/guardians are required to provide lunch each day.
Can I get paperwork before registering?
No, unfortunately we can only provide paperwork (Enrolment Form and Parent Handbook) to the families that have paid the registration fee.
Which schools does your after school care provide transportation to?
The After School Care only provides transportation for children who attend LaPerle Elementary School and St. Benedict Elementary School. If parents/guardians would like their child/children to attend the centre but they do not attend LaPerle Elementary or St. Benedict Elementary, parents/guardians must verify that a school bus will drop off their child/children in front of the After School Care.
